What is a Vtuber?
Vtuber is short for Virtual YouTuber. A vtuber is a drawing that represents a person who doesn't wish to show their face online. Vtuber's use real time motion capture software to capture movements for the vtuber model. Anything that moves on a vtuber model needs to be cut and separated to a different layer. Vtuber Separated for Rigging
Almost everything on a vtuber model needs to be separated and able to be moved independently. This give the illusion of the model moving on its own. This includes the body, eyes, clothing, and more. Think of it as if your putting clothing on a paper doll. Everything needs to be able to be removed and be put back together.

Range of Movement
Vtuber models can capture a wide range of movement including turning of your face! The better the camera for tracking the better movement your model will have. Some new iphones can even track if you puff your cheeks and stick out your tongue! These can both be tracked by your model if they are rigged to do so.

Eye tracking
Vtuber models can even track your eyes and expressions. These expressions can be limited but you can add toggles to allow for more wide expressions. Toggles are different expressions that the model cant capture on its own. For example crying or anger toggles will allow the face to change drastically and give the audience a better understanding of the vtubers emotions.
